Pujya Sri Swami Shantananda’s life is a testament to spirituality and selfless service. Born into the esteemed Yeti family, known for their deep-rooted spiritual values, he embraced the path of renunciation early on. Inspired by his parents’ teachings that life’s purpose lies in serving others, he began his spiritual journey at the age of seven.
Swami Shantananda dedicated himself to uplifting society through humanitarian initiatives. His commitment to feeding the hungry has ensured free meals for 150-200 underprivileged individuals daily for the past six years. Additionally, he devoted a decade to educating children in slums, later serving as a lecturer and mentor.
A transformative experience in the Himalayas in 2008 deepened his understanding of spirituality—not as isolation, but as service to humanity. This realization led him to establish the Shakti Pitam Trust, an organization continuing a 724-year legacy of social and spiritual welfare. Despite financial and logistical challenges, his determination and faith sustained his mission.
Guided by the values instilled by his ancestors, Swami Shantananda believes in selfless service as the highest form of worship. He envisions a society where spiritual wisdom and social welfare coexist harmoniously. His legacy serves as an inspiration, reminding us that true fulfillment lies in uplifting others. As he affirms, “When we serve selflessly, we fulfill the divine purpose of our existence.”
