Born in Kottarakkara, Kerala, Dr. Jibin K. Jacob grew up in a home where education was seen not as a status symbol but as a tool for independence. Encouraged by his mother’s academic drive and his father’s financial wisdom, he charted his own path—shifting from science to commerce after discovering the transformative potential of finance through a Chartered Accountant relative.

Dr. Jibin completed his ACCA qualification from the UK in just 1.5 years, alongside a Master’s in International Business and Finance from IGNOU. Starting his career at Ernst & Young in Chennai and later moving to their Bengaluru division, he advised companies like Swiggy, Ola, and Zomato through IPOs and financial compliance. His adaptability shone as he mastered Indian GAAP despite a UK-based training.

In 2022, he took his expertise global by joining Grant Thornton Ireland, later moving to Vistra in aircraft leasing, and eventually PwC Ireland, where he now manages strategic advisory and regulatory compliance for clients like Google and BlackRock.

Beyond the boardroom, he mentors young professionals, co-writes financial blogs with his uncle General Jacob, and stays connected to his roots through the Malayali community in Ireland. Focused on smart work over brute effort, his journey is defined by informed choices, resilience, and vision. Today, as a Manager at PwC and a leader in the making, Dr. Jibin K. Jacob is steadily paving his path toward partnership in a Big Four firm.
