Dr. Vijay’s professional ascent began in 1994 as a draughtsman at the Sugar Insurance Fund Board, later transitioning to urban planning. By 2009, he became Head of the Land Use and Planning Department at the Municipal Council of Beau Bassin/Rose Hill.
