Abstract

Green finance is the solution for accomplishing contract between the economy and nature. This study explores the multifaceted realm of green finance, focusing on its impact on sustainable development and identifying barriers to its effective implementation. The research begins with a comprehensive review of the concept, definitions, and products associated with green finance, setting a solid foundation for understanding its role in promoting environmental sustainability. This study employs both qualitative and quantitative data, initially, the reviews on the existing research on green finance was studied and primary data was collected from experts for evaluating the effectiveness of green finance in mitigating environmental challenges and fostering economic growth. The findings highlight both the positive outcomes and the challenges faced in the integration of green finance into broader sustainability efforts. This study provides actionable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and stakeholders, aiming to enhance the efficacy of green finance strategies and overcome the barriers impeding their progress.
